Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- i) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Commerce (Accounting or Finance option), Business Administration (Accounting or Finance option), Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance from a recognized institution and passed part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination; OR ii) Passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants (K) examination or its approved equivalent qualification.

Duties and Responsibilities This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: vouching sample transactions in audit investigation and verification; preparing engagement and work plans; recording proceedings of entry and exit meetings; collecting and analysing data and statistics; and preparing audit working papers.
