Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- i) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, Project Development/ Management, Disability Studies, Counseling, Gender Studies, Gender and Development, Business Administration/Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. ii) One (1) year experience in a relevant field from the Public Service or in the Private Sector.

Duties and Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will entail: mobilizing local resources for the implementation of community development projects; identifying group and individuals to benefit from social development programmes; sensitizing communities on affirmative action for persons with disabilities; coordinating the activities of groups and communities; guiding communities to develop community action plans; managing and resolving conflicts within community groups and projects; training communities and groups on livelihoods projects; registering persons with disabilities, poor and vulnerable individuals to benefit from social development programmes; preparing reports on social development programmes; and collecting sex and disability disaggregated social development related data.
